** TLC POSTPONE METROPOLIS APPEARANCE BUT NEW SUNDAY ACTS ANNOUNCED **

** 40 ACTS PERFORMING ACROSS 6 STAGES NOW ON SUNDAY **

This week we have received the unfortunate news that, due to a back injury sustained by T Boz (Tionne Watkins), TLC have been forced to reschedule their European Tour of UK, Germany and France -  which also includes their performance at Metropolis Festival.

Whilst we are disappointed at this news, and have ADDED FOUR extra incredible acts to replace them for the Bank Holiday Sunday, all in keeping with the programming and style of Metropolis Festival. For those of you who bought Sunday tickets especially to see TLC, you can get a full refund from Ticketmaster, but let us tell you about the acts we’ve got coming first...

We are thrilled to bring you the awesome Norwegian heavyweight TODD TERJE! A disco don and house music maestro, he’ll be bringing you his signature fusion of deep house, electronica, funk and nu disco. He has recently released Maskindans, the first single from his forthcoming (as yet un-named) album. Due out in 2018, it’s the eagerly awaited follow up to Todd’s 2014 release, It’s Album Time. Get into the mood and check out the brilliant Inspector Norse right here, pump it up loud!

We are immensely excited to be bringing you West Philadelphia’s DJ JAZZY JEFF! Since 1985, DJ Jazzy Jeff has wowed audiences with his flawless turntable skills, innovative production and musical versatility. From the success of “DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince” with partner Will Smith, to the critical acclaim of his production company “A Touch of Jazz”, Jeff proved time and time again that he would always be a force to be reckoned with. Classic songs like 'Boom! Shake the Room,' 'Summertime' and 'Girls Ain't Nothing but Trouble' led to platinum album sales and international stardom - and he continues to represent with his solo projects, collaborations, mixtapes and live shows across the globe. Over the course of his career, DJ Jazzy Jeff has achieved many accomplishments including a DMC Championship and multiple GRAMMY and American Music Awards and nominations.

In the short time he’s been on the scene, DENIS SULTA has rocketed into the big leagues of dance music and established himself as a global talent. (Resident Advisor). This Glaswegian talent produces his unique brand of music that has led to him being dubbed the ‘next best thing’, winning Breakthrough British Producer at the DJ Mag Awards 2016 and earning the #26 spot on the celebrated Resident Advisor Top 100 DJs poll. His effortless mixing and bang on selection skills will make this a set not to miss.

Australian DJ MALL GRAB has been described as ‘the poster boy of the blossoming lo-fi house sound..(with) killer releases and fun-filled, on-point DJ sets’ (MIXMAG). One of the most talked about selectors, with a slew of critically acclaimed releases under his belt, and under the radar edits of hip hop and R&B classics, expect a set that’ll keep you moving!

We’re bringing the amount of artists playing on Sunday up to 41. Alongside Todd Terje, Mall Grab, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Denis Sulta don’t forget the awesome Richie Hawtin, Jungle, Adam Beyer, Mount Kimbie and more will be raising the roof of Dublin’s RDS this October Bank Holiday Sunday!

With a Monday to lie in and relax, Sunday night is going to be a PARTY! Jam packed with great music, eye popping art installations, delicious food, thirst quenching cocktails and more, you won’t want to miss it!
